The Nitrogen Bond, or the Nitrogen-Centered Pnictogen Bond: The Covalently Bound Nitrogen Atom in Molecular Entities and Crystals as a Pnictogen Bond Donor

چکیده

The nitrogen bond in chemical systems occurs when there is evidence of a net attractive interaction between the electrophilic region associated with covalently or coordinately bound atom molecular entity and nucleophile another, same entity. It first member family pnictogen bonds formed by family, Group 15, periodic table, an inter- intra-molecular non-covalent interaction. In this featured review, we present several illustrative crystal structures deposited Cambridge Structure Database (CSD) Inorganic Crystal Databases (ICSD) to demonstrate that imide not only instance where can act as agent. Analysis set carefully chosen shows variety entities features ?-hole even ?-hole, these have ability sustain engagements negative sites form and/or intramolecular interactions drive, assist, formation crystalline phase.

Structural and electron aspects of nitrogen–nitrogen bond

Introduction Nitrogen, like many other chemical elements, has catenation ability. The variety and multiplicity of molecular structures with nitrogen-nitrogen bond is significantly smaller than for carbon. Such compounds are of particular interest as potential high-energy density materials (HEDM) [1], because they can undergo exothermic reaction Nx → (x/2)N2 releasing 50 kcal/mol or more per one...

A heme-dependent enzyme forms the nitrogen-nitrogen bond in piperazate.

Molecules containing a nitrogen-nitrogen (N-N) linkage have a variety of structures and biological activities; however, no enzyme has yet been demonstrated to catalyze N-N bond formation in an organic molecule. Here we report that the heme-dependent enzyme KtzT from Kutzneria sp. 744 catalyzes N-N bond formation in the biosynthesis of piperazate, a building block for nonribosomal peptides.

A Note on Atom Bond Connectivity Index

The atom bond connectivity index of a graph is a new topological index was defined by E. Estrada as ABC(G)  uvE (dG(u) dG(v) 2) / dG(u)dG(v) , where G d ( u ) denotes degree of vertex u. In this paper we present some bounds of this new topological index.
